I try to keep a minimal look but I am an absolute product junkie!! I have just about every shade of lipstick and eyeshadow you can think of but of course I only use about 2 or 3 of them. Whether its make-up or skincare, I somehow manage to just collect an array of products.
Here are a few of my favorite beauty must haves. Most of them you can just find at the drugstore or Sephora. And an added bonus....nothing costs over $50! However, when I do experiment and find something that WORKS, price is really no object when it comes to my skin. Your face is the first thing people notice so its best to use products that are made with high quality ingredients. Be careful because most cheap mass production brands often dilute their contents with alcohol, water, parabens, detergents and other chemicals. Next time you shop, try to ignore the fancy packaging and marketing tools. Take a look at the ingredients and look into the history of the brand and read reviews. While everyone has different skin and reactions its smart to get a heads up on possible side effects and irritation. Do your research and look into what ingredients don't mix well with others. My skin tends to be super sensitive and reactive so I have to be really careful with what I use. And a final tip that just may save your life- coconut oil. eat it. tan with it. removes eye make-up, put in on your skin (I use only on my body, not face) and on your hair. It is truly the miracle elixir.
First step in removing make-up and pre-clean your face. Extremely effective yet gentle enough to even remove eye make-up
An amazing gentle cleanser that doesn't dry out your skin but does leave it feeling fresh and clean
A few spritz of this after cleaning your face will give your skin an instant boost. Freshens and tones. Can also be used to set makeup. Gives a beautiful fresh dewy finish
LOVE this line and love this moisturizer! Gentle and packed with vitamins and antioxidants. If you have sensitive skin this is by far one of the best moisturizers I've found at a reasonable price
The best high SPF that is super lightweight. Mix a few drops with your moisturizer.
this serum gel sinks right into your skin and instantly moisturizes, tighten and de-puffs. perfect under makeup
I use to be a Laura Mercier fan and thought no other tinted moisturizer would ever compare...until Nars came along! It has a higher SPF and super lightweight with just enough coverage, I have made the permanent switch. Place a few drops all around face and smooth over like a moisturizer. You can also blend with a damp sponge if you want lighter coverage. Finish with a few dots of Burberry Fresh Glow on cheekbones and areas you want to highlight.
The BEST lip balm with SPF and sheer tint. Bit pricey but worth every penny
A lower price alternative that is equally amazing! With SPF 15 and sheer tint. L'Oreal color riche balm $5.99
